WOTUS WATCH OF THE UNITED STATES
The WOTUS, The Watch Of The United States, is an artistic interpretation of the Seal of the President of the United States represented through the design of a wristwatch. All components of the watch portray certain elements included in the seal.
The olive branch is visually integrated in the watch case and dial finish.
The arrows take shape as the transparent screws that hold the watch together.
The red-white striped shield is embodied by the watch's bezel.
The golden outer ring is integrated as a subtle detail into the bezel.
The blue color is introduced in the watch strap.
The watch functions as an homage to the symbolism that the Seal of the President of the United States represents.
However, it is not a coincidence that the dominant element of the watch is the pixelated graphic of the olive branch, the symbol for peace, originating from the customs of ancient Greece.
The watch case and bezel are custom 3D printed using Multi-color Polyjet, the back lid and movement holder are made out of PA 12 Glass Beads Multi Jet Fusion nylon plastic.
The outer ring of the bezel is 3D printed gold.
The watch is intended to be a piece of art, limited to 1 piece.
It is not available for sale, but we would be honored, if given the opportunity, to gift it to the current President of the United States.
