XIT SIGN

A playful simplification and material reduction process informed the design of the XIT sign. The housing is made out of white ABS plastic with flush placed green LED backlit acrylic lenses. The XIT sign can be ceiling or wall mounted, and includes an optional battery back-up system in the housing. The XIT sign design allows for a 30 percent material savings compared to conventional exit signs. Multiply this by millions of exit signs in the world = massive material savings.
